Come and find some inner calmness and allow your creativity out. A day of relaxation and artistic flow. Jackie will share some of her relaxation and energising techniques with you whilst giving you the opportunity to make a beautiful fused glass mandala.
What is a mandala?
It is something often associated with eastern traditions but is also present in western ones. It is a symbolic picture used in meditation. In the simplest form it is a circle and the word mandala is actually Sanskrit for disc. The aim of meditation with a mandala is to re-orientate your focus to self-awareness, wisdom and compassion.

Stained glass courses
Inspire yourself, let the creative you out, have some fun. Come and learn stained glass, create your own glass panel in a relaxed and beautiful setting whilst getting the help of Jackie a professional, passionate, experienced and motivated glass artist. During this 2 day course Jackie will show you how to make a stained glass panel (30cm approx) using traditional methods. The course will be structured around your needs with a maximum of 4 people. The main aim is for you to enjoy yourself whilst working in this amazing medium.

Soft metal classes for Parent and Child

A great opportunity to have some fun, develop creativity, try something new, whilst having some family bonding time. Come and enjoy some family time in an inspiring setting. Jackie is an experienced artist and trainer. She enjoys working both with adults and children and offers these classes to encourage creative expression whilst learning and having some fun. All classes are offered around your needs and are kept to a maximum of 4 people. All courses are run by Jackie Richardson who is a professional and experienced glass and metal artist. She ensures her courses are designed around your needs and endeavours to make them inspiring, fun, relaxing and safe. It is vital to her that her courses are kept to a maximum of 4 people; she wants to ensure that you get the right amount of her guidance, space and calmness. Jackie’s studio is located in a beautiful, tranquil location and can be easily accessed within 5 minutes from the M5 and the vibrant city of Bristol is only 12 miles away. She is very happy to tailor her courses around your requirements and will even help arrange over night accommodation to make it a complete break from home. Please contact her to discuss your needs.
